To introduce and develop new methods and techniques for the processing of hemp varieties with the goal of creating exportable and innovative products with high added value.
To develop the processing of hemp industry waste into environmentally friendly materials.
To develop the hemp processing industry for it to bring together companies that can work together to create the full product processing cycle, from the seed to the exported product.
To promote the research of the physical and chemical properties of the chemical composition of hemp and the identification of its pharmacological potential.
To promote the implementation of the most current and latest technological solutions for hemp cultivation and processing in Latvia.
To inform members and the public about the latest global trends and current hemp processing applications.
To provide consultations to members and to create an information base on issues related to hemp cultivation, processing and research in order to create a comprehensive compilation of industry regulations.
To represent the views and interests of the members in discussions with state and local government institutions as well as other non-governmental organisations.
To organise events for the exchange of experience with other organisations operating in the hemp cultivation and processing industry in Latvia and abroad.
